1957 Gibson GA-5

This nice Gibson GA-5 from 1957 came in only needing caps, and a little cleaning. I also took the opportunity to install a 3-wire AC cord, and wire it for safety. The amp is an great shape! I forgot to get a photo of the vintage RCA tubes (5Y3, 6V6, 12AX7) that are still going strong.

An added bonus on this amp is the store decal. Twin City Music House has been in business (I believe at the same Plainfield Street address) since the 1930s. And, unless something has changed that I don’t know about, it has always been owned and run by the Petteruti family. Probably the 3rd generation by now!
